This course introduces the approach of using current technology (mostly computer technology and VR) to entangle old philosophical problems and understand their relevance for our modern society This approach is known as “technophilosophy.” At the same time, the course introduces the idea of using philosophy to reason about technological problems (mainly directed, not at technical problems, but at societal or ethical ones).
