Profile:
Ritwik Ranjan received his academic training in India and the United States. Ritwik's dissertation was defended in 2016 and was awarded the ICHTH Doctoral Dissertation Prize (2018) by the International Commission for the History and Theory of Historiography. Prior to joining ShanghaiTech University, Ritwik served as a postdoctoral fellow at New York University, Shanghai. At ShanghaiTech Ritwik teaches undergraduate courses on South Asian history and culture.
