Teaching and Research:
Dr. Zhang Yunxian'steaching and research work focuses on three aspects:
1. Essay Writing: thisclass trains students how to think and express clearly, effectivelyand logically. Besides, it also helps students to ask questions,organize arguments, develop concepts, narrate a matter fluently andpersuasively, explain or demonstrate their own views.
2. Literature Appreciationand the Intensive Reading of Novels: this class selects Chinesemodern and contemporary literary works and the western classicliterary works in order to guide students to do thematic text readingand text analysis.
3. Literary theory,aesthetic theory, the western aesthetics: involving cultural studies,feminism, film aesthetics and other fields.
